I am 65 years old and 5 years ago I was diagnosed with a medical condition of Osteoarthritis which had caused pain on my hip area. Over time I felt the pain getting severe and it can not be controlled any more by conservative measures and it is getting difficult even to move my thigh. My doctor told me that a total hip replacement is an option for me to treat hip pain caused by osteoarthritis. He told me that osteoarthritis of the hip is the most common reason for a hip replacement, and is caused by the wear and tear of aging. It causes the cartilage covering the joints to worn out and that may cause friction inside the joints when your thigh is moving or when you are walking.

I had done the hip replacement but after a year it had caused complications and I heard on the news that some artificial implants on the hip joints are defective and some people are filling hip recall lawsuit.
